New Pokemon Fairy Type for Pokemon X and Y revealed How Will This Change Effect The Pokemon World?

This Octorber 12, 2013 Pokemon X and Y will be released for the Nintendo 3DS, along with a whole new addition to the world of Pokemon that will change the Pokemon world forever. That  addition is the brand new Fairy type Pokemon, a Pokemon that is super effective and versatile against  Dragon type Pokemon. Now Dragon type Pokemon have been known for being ridiculous over powered, with having only  Other Dragon type and Ice type to be the most versatile against them. However with the addition of Fairy type Pokemon the Meta of Pokemon is about to take a major  change with endless possibility’s in the outcome of Pokemon battles.

Pokemon Fairy type list

It has been revealed that are quite a few Pokemon whose type have been converted to Fairy type Pokemon. such Pokemon include Jigglypuff, WigglyTuff, Gardevoir, Marill, and Azumarill. Also there is a brand new eveloution that has been added that is also considered a  Fairy type Pokemon. Introducing Eve’s newest eveloution Sylveon. Standing at 3’03 Sylveon uses a powerful move called Moonburst which is said to be super effective on dragon type Pokemon. Now this really puts a new twist on how we will look and use Pokemon that we once deemed  as so called normal Pokemon. although normal was there type was there anything that was deemed normal about them? After all aren’t all Pokemon unique therefore shouldn’t each Pokemon have unique type or should the normal ones just be kept normal for fan sake?

What Can Beat A  Fairy  Type Pokemon?

Now one question that remains to be answered is what  actually vs. a Fairy type  Pokemon? We  know that for certain  Fairy type Pokemon are very effective on  Dragon type Pokemon. Also we know that  Dragon Type Pokemon, Dark Type Pokemon, and  Psychic type Pokemon do not have very much effect on Fairy type Pokemon. With that being said which Pokemon type in the Pokemon world  can take on the all new Powerful Fairy type Pokemon? My best guess I would have to say would either be Electric type Pokemon, Cosmic type Pokemon or would there have to be another type of Pokemon to be revealed in the future to equally balance it out? another thing I want to know is should Clafary be  considered a Fairy type Pokemon after all there was that one episode that reveals Clafary came form outer space so should’t they be a Cosmic type Pokemon being that Clafary in her name?

Why Fairy Type Pokemon?

As to why they choose Fairy to be the new type it may be the fact that the new city’s in the Pokemon world take place in a region that looks like Europe. One of the city’s even look like Paris France.  since Europe has been known to use a lot of “Fairy Tale ” inspired ideas could that have been the reason why the choose fairy as new type cause speaking from a point of view as  fantasy reader Fairy’s seem like the perfect adversary for Dragons. Another adversary   that would have worked great for Dragon type Pokemon would have been  Angel Type Pokemon or Divine Pokemon if theywere to create such a concept for the Pokemon games and for the Pokemon show.
